Ferry passengers hit by walkout

Hundreds of ferry passengers due to sail from Portsmouth to France on Brittany Ferries have been hit by an unofficial strike..

Crossings on the high-speed Normandy Express to Cherbourg have been cancelled due to action by the vessel's catering staff..

Passengers have been transferred to the firm's services from Poole, which are not affected..

The company says the wildcat strike is over changes to working arrangements..

The firm said it hoped the dispute would be quickly resolved.
