Ferry ticket prices fall |  | | | 31 October 2008 | Holidaymakers looking to book a ferry trip in the coming months will be pleased to learn that ferry operators appear to be reducing their fuel surcharge charges.
Today, Condor Ferries announced that it will be cutting its fuel surcharge for the second time this autumn, according to the Jersey Evening Post.
This will mean drops in ticket prices which will allow cash strapped tourists more freedom to travel around this winter.
Condor Ferries offers numerous services between mainland England and the Channel Islands, between England and France and between France and the Channel Islands.
Its ferries boast good quality cafeterias with a selection of hot and cold foods including sandwiches and tasty deserts.
Those who want to spend a little extra are invited to use the operator's Club Class service which offers a private area with reclining seats and tables for working or reading on.
Earlier this month, Ashore, Weymouth and Portland Borough Council and Howard Holdings announced plans to splash £130 million on a new passenger building for Condor Ferries. |
