Foodie trails launched in Wales

Foodie trails launched in Wales
Visitors to mid-Wales can enjoy many good things - and that includes food.

Camarthenshire has launched its own dedicated series of three dedicated trails for culinary connoisseurs and those travelling by ferry from Dublin to Holyhead might want to make this part of a trip to Wales.

The trails will enable people to enjoy delicacies varying from squirrel to trout caught in a coracle and Prince Charles's favourite cheesecake - which he had served up at his wedding to the Duchess of Cornwall.

It is even possible to enjoy fresh seafood served up in a living room, courtesy of bearded fisherman Big Bill in Llansteffan.

Food lovers are not the only ones who have been given an extra reason to visit mid-Wales recently.

Silver Mountain has just been opened between Aberystwyth and Llangurig, offering a scary underground experience for over-12s only that promises to mix screams and laughter in equal measure.
