Art enthusiasts planning to take ferries to Bilbao this year will have a number of new exhibitions to choose from in the city.
Work by several famous and acclaimed artists will be displayed at the Guggenheim Bilbao, which is part of an international group of museums that includes institutes in New York, Venice and Berlin.
One of the easiest ways to reach the city is by taking ferries to Bilbao from Portsmouth, which are provided by P&O Ferries.
Among the new shows opening this year is Gluts, a series of sculptures by Robert Rauschenberg, which will be on display from February 13th.
Rauschenberg created artworks out of found objects such as traffic signs, exhaust pipes, radiator grilles and blinds.
Another new show at the Guggenheim Bilbao will focus on Anish Kapoor, the acclaimed British sculptor who was the subject of a major exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts last year.
Travellers planning Bilbao ferry trips will be able to see the display from March 16th.Brittany Ferries
also provides an option for people planning to visit Spain with its Santander ferry route, which operates from Portsmouth and Plymouth.
