Grab a last minute half-term ferry bargain

Knowing how to keep the kids entertained during half-term can often be a difficult task, but with so many special offers available from Aferry.co.uk, getting away may be cheaper than first thought.

Condor Ferries is providing crossings from Weymouth or Poole to Guernsey on selected dates from just £25. Passengers are advised to catch ferries from Poole to Guernsey on October 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 28th, 29th and 30th to secure the best prices and see what one of the best loved Channel Islands has to offer.

Meanwhile, DFDS Seaways is providing ferries from Dover to Dunkerque at seriously reduced prices for mid-week crossings. Bookings need to be made before October 30th to make the most of the reductions, which could see a family of four travelling across the Channel for just £19 each way. Bookings that are made from Monday to Thursday from Dover, and Monday to Friday from Dunkerque may be eligible for a five-day return costing as little as £39.

Other deals currently available for crossings throughout the remainder of the year include a great discount on ferries from Newhaven to Dieppe. LD Lines is providing five-day returns from just £39 each way, which includes a car and up to two people. If ferries from Portsmouth to Le Havre are more appealing, then five-day returns are available from £46 each way for a limited period of time.

Families who fancy a day trip may want to think about a selection of offers from Irish Ferries. Tourists can catch ferries from Holyhead to Dublin or ferries from Pembroke to Rosslare and spend up to 12 hours at their destination, giving them plenty of time to explore. Fares start from £27 per adult foot passenger and £14 for children under the age of 16. This deal is only available until December 31st.
