People planning ferry trips to some of Europe's most popular cities this year can make use of a new iPhone application that encompasses all 42 destination guides in the Hg2 series.
Available now for a price of £9.99, the app provides recommendations and ideas for holidaymakers heading to destinations including Amsterdam, Paris and Madrid, which travellers can reach following sea journeys with operators such as
DFDS Seaways,
SeaFrance and
Brittany Ferries.
Users can access more than 12,000 reviews and images of different attractions, hotels, restaurants and other points of interest, while an itinerary planner and 'favourites' function allow travellers to customise their trip.
Tremayne Carew Pole, founder of the Hg2 series, said: "We're breaking new ground offering the entire catalogue of destinations in one application, and at such an advantageous price.
"Our filtered content is perfect for those visiting a city with limited time to spend - and having it all in your pocket and linked in to a host of functionality is the way the world is going."
The 42 destination guides will be launched as standalone applications in May.
People planning a trip to some of Europe's most exciting cities can choose from travel options such as DFDS Seaways'
ferries from Newcastle to Amsterdam and
cheap Eurostar tickets to Paris.
