There will be plenty of fun and entertainment on offer to travellers taking Isle of Wight ferry breaks over the coming weeks as the island's summer carnival season gets underway.
A host of events will be taking place in various locations, featuring an array of parades, music, dancing and much more for visitors to enjoy.
One event for holidaymakers to look forward to is the Yarmouth Carnival, which will get underway in the port town at 17:30 on August 14th.
Travellers can reach the destination by taking
ferries from Lymington to Yarmouth with
Wightlink.
Visitors might also be interested in heading to Cowes, which will host its main carnival on August 18th, followed by a spectacular illuminated event on August 28th.
There will be other parties and parades to visit in destinations such as Shanklin (August 4th, 7th), Ventnor (August 11th) and Ryde (August 20th-21st, September 4th) this summer.
Wightlink operates
ferries from Portsmouth to Fishbourne and Ryde, while
Hovertravel operates a service from Southsea to Ryde.
