Hovertravel is offering a fast and convenient means of transport to Osbourne House's Victorian Christmas event this weekend (November 19th and 20th).
The clocks will be turned back more than 100 years to show how the festive season was celebrated in times gone by, with plenty of characters on hand to set the scene.
Among the entertainment on offer are fairground stalls, singing chimney sweeps and even the opportunity to meet Father Christmas and Queen Victoria.
Marketing manager for Hovertravel Loretta Lale commented: "A visit to Royal Osbourne makes a great a day trip during this festive season.
"Take a tour of this beautiful residence and combine it with a stroll of the terraces."
Admission to the event is priced at £12.30 for adults and £8.20 for children between the ages of five and 15.
Ferries from Southsea to Ryde depart around 36 times a day, with prices starting from as little as £10 return for a foot passenger with Aferry.co.uk.
