Head to Shanklin for Christmas Festival Day | | | | 22 October 2008 | People planning ferry crossings to the Isle of Wight for breaks in early December should ensure they pay a visit to Shanklin for the Christmas Festival Day.
Scheduled for December 6th, this event promises to offer a whole day of fun for all the family.
The range of entertainment on offer will include a Father Christmas grotto, singers, bands, balloon modellers, a Punch and Judy show and stalls selling food and souvenirs.

Shanklin is one of the Isle of Wight's most popular family resorts, offering a number of sandy beaches, restaurants, theatres and other attractions.
It can be reached easily by car following ferry crossings with Red Funnel or Wightlink to Ryde, Fishbourne, Cowes or Yarmouth. |
