Final details of the Holland Flowers Festival have been announced, which is sure to be a great experience with anyone holidaying in the country.
From February 22nd-26th 2012, the largest under-cover floral gardens in the Netherlands will be open to the public.
The 2011 event saw more than 250,000 people in attendance, and, now in its 79th year, the next one looks set to be bigger and better than ever.
Famous horticulturalists are involved in putting together the gardens under the watchful eye of garden designer Robert Broekema.
There is an opportunity for visitors to marvel at the various colours, as well as purchase a range of products from the neighbouring consumer fair.
Flowers, trees, shrubs and other ornamental cultivation products can be seen throughout the event.
Anyone interested in heading to the fair can catch ferries from Harwich to the Hook of Holland with
Stena Line, with departures leaving around twice a day.
