Dublin ferries will prove a popular option for movie fans in February next year as the Irish city hosts the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival.
This event will be held at various cinemas around the city centre between February 12th and 22nd.
Considered Ireland's leading feature film festival, the cultural celebration includes a comprehensive programme of screenings as well as industry seminars, celebrity question-and-answer sessions and panel discussions.
Last year, the event boasted a line-up of films and acting talent including Colin Farrell, Charlize Theron and Daniel Day Lewis.
While the full programme for 2009 will not be revealed until January, it has been confirmed that one of the highlights of the festival will be last year's Cannes Palme D'Or-winning film The Class.
Tickets will go on sale on the festival's official website on January 21st.
Those who manage to reserve a place at the festival can catch Dublin ferries from Liverpool with P&O Ferries or Norfolkline, or sail from Holyhead with
Irish Ferries or Stena Line.
