Travellers planning Balearic Islands ferry breaks in the near future have been informed of some of the luxury accommodation options on offer in Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza.
The local government tourist board said that the islands have continued to upgrade their hotel offering this year, providing everything from quiet rural retreats to luxury villas.
Mallorca is the largest of the Balearics and is home to properties such as Cap Rocat, a former military fortress located on a clifftop to the south of the Bay of Palma that boasts a five-star rating and offers scenic sea views.
Customers who visit aferry.co.uk before September 5th can book a ferry to Palma from Barcelona or Valencia with
Acciona Trasmediterranea and save up to 40 per cent on the price of their journey.
Other accommodation options include Hotel Tres Sants in Menorca, a new eight-room property located in the heart of Ciutadella's old town that dates back to the mid-18th century.
For travellers heading to Ibiza, the Balearic Islands tourist board recommended Can Partit, a villa boasting a rural setting in Santa Agnes de Corona.
Acciona
Trasmediterranea is also offering cheap ferries from Barcelona to Ibiza and Menorca this summer, while
Balearia sails to the islands from Barcelona, Valencia and Denia.
