Equestrian enthusiasts are expected to be catching the ferry to Dublin in their droves to attend a mammoth horse show being held in the city.
The Irish capital is hosting the spectacular event which is expected to attract hundreds of foreign visitors.
Held at the RDS, the event is this year celebrating its 135th anniversary and will see more than1,400 horses and ponies on show.
As well as show jumping events, spectators will also be able to browse more than 300 trade stands and enjoy drama and musical entertainment.
It is believed to have cost 3.6 million to stage this year's five-day event which is being sponsored once again by sustainable tourism group Failte.
Arts, Sports and Tourism Minister Martin Cullen said: "We are delighted to support such a high-profile event through the Failte Ireland International Sports Tourism Initiative.
"The initiative targets and sponsors events that enjoy a high-profile position in their own sporting calendar and can showcase Ireland as a major sports tourist destination."
