Travellers catching ferries to Guernsey this year will be able to choose from some new accommodation options following a number of refurbishment projects across the island.
Work is currently underway at the three-star Fleur du Jardin in Castel, which has the feel of a "beautiful and stylish country inn", according to Visit Guernsey.
The hotel received a Michelin accolade in 2008 and boasts facilities including a heated outdoor pool and the Lavender Rooms health suite.
Four-star accommodation options on offer to ferry travellers in Guernsey include the Farmhouse in St Saviour and the Bella Luce in St Martin, both of which have been renovated recently and equipped with a number of luxury features.
At the Braye Beach Hotel in Alderney, guests can enjoy new features including pale wooden decking and an outdoor terrace that overlooks the sea, providing easy access to the beach.
Ferries to Guernsey are available with
Condor Ferries, which sails to the island from Portsmouth, Poole and Weymouth and also offers onward services to St Malo in France.
