Ireland to face All Blacks in Dublin |  | | | 09 September 2008 | Rugby fans will be booking their ferries to Dublin soon ahead of Ireland's match against New Zealand in November.
The men in green will be playing the All Blacks at Dublin's Croke Park stadium for the first time on November 15th.
New Zealand are one of the most feared teams in international rugby, currently ranked second behind world champions South Africa, and will present a tough test for the home side.
This will not be the only international match at Croke Park in November on the 22nd Ireland will play Argentina in their last game before the Six Nations tournament gets underway in February 2009.
Croke Park is the largest sports stadium in Ireland and the fifth largest in Europe, with capacity to hold 82,300 people.
Sports fans interested in visiting the venue can catch ferries to Dublin from Liverpool, Holyhead and the Isle of Man with operators including P&O Ferries, Stena Line and Norfolkline. |
