Irish Ferries announces special autumn/winter fare |  | | | 26 August 2008 | Irish Ferries has announced that it will be offering a £59 one-way fare for ferry crossings to Ireland for the coming autumn/winter season.
The company said the price covers car and driver and includes "no hidden extras" as all taxes and fuel charges are included.
People interested in catching ferries to Ireland can travel with Irish Ferries from Holyhead to Dublin and from Pembroke to Rosslare.
Declan Mescall, the operator's head of passenger sales, said: "We've taken the decision to absorb the extra fuel costs so that we can continue to be 'the low fares ferry company'.
"And we'll also continue to bang the drum about the other benefits of self-drive travel by ferry
leisurely check-in times of just 30 minutes, no baggage restrictions or charges and space to relax, stretch the legs and enjoy the experience of Europe's most modern ferries."
People living in Ireland can also take advantage of Irish Ferries' cross-Channel services, which provide a starting point for anybody interested in self-drive ski holidays to France.
The company provides ferry crossings from Rosslare on the south coast of Ireland to Cherbourg and Roscoff. |
