Irish Ferries has revealed fare cuts which it claims will provide "peak-season savings" for travellers planning driving holidays in France this year.
The operator has reduced all summer fares for ferries to France by up to 30 per cent, while prices for all cabins with the exception of four- and five-star suites have been cut by up to 50 per cent.
Passengers catching ferries to France can therefore benefit from lead-in fares starting at 199 (£177) per person each way with accommodation in a four-berth, two-star cabin.
Discounts will be available to customers who book before May 5th for travel in June, July and August.
Irish Ferries also announced earlier this month that it was cutting its fares for ferries to Ireland during the peak summer travel period of July 4th to August 31st.
The company offers
ferries from Holyhead to Dublin and from Pembroke to Rosslare for people travelling to Ireland, while those heading to France can catch ferries from Rosslare to Roscoff and Cherbourg.
