Irish Ferries could see higher demand for its France ferry services over the coming weeks following the launch of a spring sale.
The company announced that discounts of up to 33 per cent on its standard fares will be available during the promotion, which it offers every year.
People based in Ireland can take ferries to Cherbourg and Roscoff from Rosslare with Irish Ferries.
Advantages of the routes include travel on the Oscar Wilde ferry, which the company describes as "the most luxurious ship to sail between Rosslare and France".
The vessel boasts onboard amenities including lounges with a variety of entertainment and dining options, wireless internet access, shops and a cinema.
In another bonus for its passengers, Irish Ferries recently announced that it had made arrangements with wine outlets in Cherbourg and Roscoff allowing customers to access discounts of up to 12.5 per cent.
The operator also offers ferries to Dublin from Holyhead, as well as a Pembroke to Rosslare ferry service.
