Irish Ferries has encouraged Elvis fans to plan a trip to County Donegal this year to attend a festival celebrating to 'the king of rock 'n' roll'.
The Bundoran Elvis Festival will be based at the Great Northern Hotel from November 6th to 9th.
Bundoran is located in County Donegal on the west coast of Northern Ireland, a region that can be reached by taking ferries to Dublin from Holyhead with
Irish Ferries or
Stena Line and driving north.
One of the highlights of the Bundoran Elvis Festival will be the final of the All Ireland Elvis contest, which will see a host of impersonators performing live and being judged on their efforts.
The popular seaside town will also host a number of concerts and fringe shows at various venues during the festival.
Irish Ferries also operates a Pembroke to Rosslare ferry route for people planning to visit Ireland, while both P&O Ferries and
Norfolkline provide ferries to Dublin from Liverpool.
Travellers planning to head straight to Northern Ireland can take ferries to Belfast from Liverpool with
Norfolkline or use the Stranraer to Belfast ferry service operated by
Stena Line.
