Irish Ferries has launched the 2009 version of its ferry travel and holiday guide, which provides information on various products and services on offer to customers.
Users of the guide will be able to find out sailing routes and times, details of onboard facilities and how to upgrade to club class for a more comfortable journey.
Introducing the new publication, Declan Mescall, head of passenger sales for
Irish Ferries, said that ferry travel could prove a popular option this year with people who are losing faith in airlines.
"For people fed up with the frustrations of dealing with budget airlines to Ireland, we are yet again emphasising that ferry travel is no longer the 'poor relation'," he said.
"Our fares offer fantastic value for money, there are no hidden extra costs our customers can take as much luggage as the car can hold and the onboard experience on our luxury vessels makes the journey an enjoyable part of their holiday, not just something to be endured en route to something better."
Irish Ferries will be fully reinstating its Holyhead to Dublin ferry crossing from February 27th when morning sailings on the Dublin Swift vessel are restored.
Dublin Swift will offer two daily return ferry crossings from Holyhead to Dublin, a route that is also served twice a day by the cruise ferry Ulysses.
