Irish Ferries offering low fares for rugby fans

Irish Ferries offering low fares for rugby fans
Irish Ferries has announced that it will be offering special fares for travellers heading to Ireland to see a Six Nations rugby match next month.

Prices will be reduced on the company's Holyhead to Dublin ferry route ahead of Ireland's meeting with Wales at Croke Park on March 13th.

Return crossings will be included in the promotion if passengers travel on March 12th or the morning of the 13th and return on the evening of March 13th or the two following days.

The Six Nations kicked off this weekend with a win for Ireland, who beat Italy 29-11 in Dublin.

England also enjoyed a good start to the series, beating Wales 30-17 at Twickenham, while Scotland lost 9-18 to France at Murrayfield.

Ireland will visit London on February 27th for a meeting with England, who will travel to Paris three weeks later for a game against France.

People planning to visit the Irish capital to see Croke Park and its many other attractions can take ferries to Dublin from Holyhead with Stena Line, or travel on the Liverpool to Dublin ferry route, which is served by P&O Ferries and Norfolkline Irish Sea.
