Irish Ferries has encouraged travellers looking for a memorable way to celebrate Halloween this year to pay a visit to Alton Towers.
The Staffordshire resort and amusement park will host its annual Scarefest event from October 16th to 31st.
Visitors will be invited to experience a range of spine-tingling attractions and activities to suit all ages.
Irish Ferries carries travellers in both directions across the Irish Sea, offering regular
ferries from Pembroke to Rosslare as well as
ferries from Holyhead to Dublin.
Highlights of Scarefest this year will include the return of Millie, Molly and Meg, three witches who love to give out treats and surprises to youngsters.
Children can also meet characters such as Skelvin, Franklin and Patch, while those looking for some more extreme experiences can test their nerve in the Boiler House or at the Carnival of Screams, which is a new addition for 2010.
Stena Line also provides Irish Sea services, with a choice of
ferries from Fishguard to Rosslare and Holyhead to Dublin and Dun Laoghaire.
Crossings are also available with
P&O and
Norfolkline/
DFDS Seaways.
