Irish Ferries has promoted its services to Ireland for people planning to treat themselves to an Easter break this year.
The company revealed that it is offering savings of up to 30 per cent on its ordinary fares for customers planning to take their car to Ireland during the spring holiday period.
Travellers can take
ferries from Pembroke to Rosslare with the operator, or alternatively use the Holyhead to Dublin ferry route to get to Ireland's capital city.
Both services offer the benefit of 30-minute check-in and port-to-port journey times of four hours to Rosslare and less than two hours to Dublin.
People who decide to visit Ireland for an Easter celebration this year will be able to attend a number of events, including the Walking Festival in Westport, which will run from April 3rd to 6th.
Tourists in Bangor, County Down will be able to join in with the town's family fun day and parade on April 5th.
Other travel options for holidaymakers heading to Ireland include
Stena Line's ferries to Dublin and Dun Laoghaire from Holyhead and the Liverpool to Dublin ferry route, which is served by
P&O Ferries and
Norfolkline Irish Sea.
