Irish Ferries has encouraged travellers based in Ireland to take ferries to Holyhead from Dublin or sail to Pembroke from Rosslare this month to celebrate Halloween at Alton Towers.
The amusement park will host its annual Scarefest event from October 17th to November 1st.
A combination of indoor and outdoor attractions including haunted houses and mazes will be opened during the period, providing a variety of frightening but fun experiences for visitors of all ages.
Alton Towers is located near Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire, meaning people taking ferries to Holyhead with
Irish Ferries simply have to drive across north Wales and into England to visit the park.
The attraction is home to a number of popular thrill rides, including Oblivion, Nemesis, Air and Rita - Queen of Speed.
Several operators provide travel links between Ireland and mainland Britain, including P&O Ferries and
Norfolkline Irish Sea, both of which serve the Liverpool to Dublin ferry route.
Stena Line offers ferries to Dublin from Holyhead and also sails from Fishguard to Rosslare.
