Comedians Griff Rhys Jones, Dara O'Briain and Rory McGrath are set to travel to Ireland with
Irish Ferries for a new television series.
Three Men Go to Ireland is the follow-up to the popular programme Three Men in a Boat.
On December 30th, the first episode will be screened on BBC Two, showing the trio disembarking from
Irish Ferries' Dublin Swift, which serves the Holyhead to Dublin ferry route.
The comedians will travel on craft including an 80-year-old Guinness barge and a Galway hooker on their way to Limerick, where they will appear at the city's Poetry Festival.
Some of Ireland's most impressive scenery will be showcased during the series, from the Shannon river and its picturesque surroundings to the cliffs of Galway Bay.
Irish Ferries uses three ships on its links between the UK and Ireland, including Ulysses, which is the world's largest car ferry.
In addition to its Holyhead to Dublin and Pembroke to Rosslare ferry routes, the company offers access to France on its Roscoff and Cherbourg ferry links from Rosslare.
