Irish Ferries will host a wine fair on its final sailing of the year on the Rosslare to Roscoff ferry route.
The event will take place on the company's Ireland to France ferry Oscar Wilde on September 24th.
Irish Ferries recently announced that the fair will be attended by representatives from the French wine-growing domains of Michel Lynch, Chamarre, Laroche, Louis Jadot and Boutinot.
The experts will give advice on all things wine-related and invite passengers to take part in tastings ahead of their trip to Europe, during which they can stock up on food and drink for the Christmas period.
While
Irish Ferries' Roscoff ferry service will cease operating for the winter on September 24th, the company will continue to offer ferries to Cherbourg from Rosslare, with three weekly departures from Ireland on this route from October 2nd onwards.
The operator also provides ferries to Dublin from Holyhead and sails to Rosslare from Pembroke.
