Irish Ferries will operate a special mini-cruise for wine lovers on its Rosslare to Cherbourg ferry route this month.
The service will depart from the port in Ireland on October 23rd and return on October 25th.
Irish Ferries revealed that it has teamed up with wine writer and broadcaster Martin Moran to offer the mini-cruise.
Passengers will be able to take part in special tastings during their ferry crossings to learn more about some of the wines they will be able to buy in France.
Upon arrival in Cherbourg, travellers will have the opportunity to visit the Normandie Wine Warehouse, which is offering discounts of up to 12.5 per cent for
Irish Ferries customers.
The company's Rosslare to Cherbourg ferry route will operate three times a week over the coming months, with departures on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Irish Ferries also provides a Rosslare to Roscoff ferry service, while British travellers planning to visit Ireland can take ferries to Dublin from Holyhead or sail to Rosslare from Pembroke.
