Irish Ferries will soon be making improvements to its range of ferries to France with the return of its three-day mini-cruise service.
This popular travel option will be reinstated from May 15th, offering passengers the chance to spend up to six hours ashore in Cherbourg or Roscoff to see some sights or go shopping.
Travellers planning to catch ferries to France to stock up on some wine will be able to take advantage of discounts that will be available to Irish Ferries passengers as a result of an agreement the operator has reached with local retailers.
One outlet, the Wine and Beer Supermarket in Roscoff, will offer price cuts of 17.5 per cent on all wine purchases of 351 (£313) or more.
In an added bonus for travellers, Irish Ferries announced that it will provide earlier departures on its ferries from Rosslare to Cherbourg and Roscoff to make life easier for people with onward connections to make.
As well as its services to France, the operator provides
ferries from Holyhead to Dublin and from Pembroke to Rosslare.
