Travellers with canine companions have been invited to take "dog-friendly" holidays to Ireland with
Irish Ferries over the coming months.
The company said that autumn is a "great time" for families with dogs to take ferries to Ireland and go for some scenic walks along miles of coastline.
Beach restrictions were recently lifted across Ireland, allowing dog owners to take their furry friends for a trip to the seafront.
Irish Ferries carries dogs free of charge on its ferries to Dublin from Holyhead and its Pembroke to Rosslare ferry route.
Pets are allowed to stay in the car during the journey or can be accommodated in special onboard kennels.
Travellers are offered up to four daily sailings on the Holyhead to Dublin ferry route, with crossings taking only two hours on the Dublin Swift fast service.
Ferries to Rosslare from Pembroke operate twice a day, with the Isle of Inishmore vessel setting off from the Welsh port at 02:45 and 14:30.
