A local businessman is hoping more people will catch
ferries to the Isle of Man with the Steam Packet Company for a spot of adventure.
Keirron Tastagh, of Manx business Adventurous Experiences, believes the island has real potential as a thrill-seeking destination - and the ferry operator agrees.
As part of his marketing drive, Mr Tastagh will be attending the Outdoors Show and the Adventure Show in London to attract people to the island's Adventure Race in June 2012 and the Sea Kayak Symposium in September.
He commented: "It's important that we attend these shows and talk directly to those interested in taking part in adventure activities, as it also gives us the opportunity to show exactly what the island has to offer."
Steam Packet Company chief executive Mark Woodward said that the firm is glad to be involved in the promotion of events on the Isle of Man.
