The Isle of Wight Zoo has confirmed that it will enter a tree at the Brighstone Christmas Tree Festival this year.
People planning ferry trips to the Isle of Wight will be able to attend this perennially popular event between December 4th and 7th.
A range of impressively decorated trees from individuals and groups around the island will be displayed at venues including Brighstone parish church, Brighstone Methodist church and Mottistone Church.
The Isle of Wight Zoo's entry will be on show in Wilberforce Hall in Brighstone village centre, where there will also be plenty of refreshments available.
Brighstone boasts a number of attractions for holidaymakers to visit, including a church that dates back to 1190 and a village museum with a Victorian theme.
Ferry crossings to the Isle of Wight are available with Wightlink, which sails from Lymington to Yarmouth and from Portsmouth to Fishbourne and Ryde. Red Funnel also offers services from Southampton to Cowes.
