Journey 'all part of the fun' with Brittany Ferries | | | | 05 February 2010 | Travellers will find that getting to their destination is "all part of the fun" if they sail with Brittany Ferries, according to a recent article.
A promotional piece published by the Telegraph in association with the ferry operator highlighted some of the onboard amenities available to passengers.
The Portsmouth to St Malo ferry crossing features entertainment including live music and magic shows, as well as plenty of shops, cinemas and other facilities.
St Malo was recommended for people planning to head to the Loire, Vendee and Dordogne regions of France, while those looking to explore western Brittany can take ferries to Roscoff from Plymouth.
The article also pointed out that Brittany Ferries provides access to Spain, with four weekly sailings on the Santander ferry routes from Portsmouth and Plymouth aboard the Pont-Aven and Cap Finistere vessels.
Holidaymakers can use these services to explore the northern coast of the country, or possibly drive across the border to visit south-west France.
