LD Lines' Winter Fares Offers From £22.50 |  | | | 06 November 2009 | | Source: LD Lines Press Release | Travellers to the north of France can enjoy even lower prices for ferries across the Channel this winter thanks to the new low prices announced by LD Lines.
Operator LD Lines has cheap winter sailing offers available from just £22.50 each way on its highly popular Dover - Boulogne route. This low price applies to a five day return for a car and up to 9 passengers, making it excellent value for money. Short break fares are also available from only £28 return for a car with 5 passengers, and foot passengers can travel from £18 return.
These special low price offers help mark the introduction of the modern conventional ferry Norman Spirit to the Dover - Boulogne service. From the 11th of November the Norman Spirit will provide 4 return crossings daily, with a journey time of only 1 hour 45 minutes. With a capacity of 1,850 passengers and 700 cars as well as 110 lorries, the Norman Spirit caters for all types of traffic, and provides an excellent journey thanks to its restaurants, cafés, pub, cabins and internet access.
LD Lines also have winter offers on their Newhaven - Dieppe and Portmouth - Le Havre routes. Two passengers can take their car on a five day return trip from only £39 each way between Newhaven and Dieppe and £49 each way between Portsmouth and Le Havre. All prices are valid from 3rd November 2009 to 26 March 2010 and subject to availability.
