LD Lines and TransEuropa Ferries confirm March 27th launch

LD Lines and TransEuropa Ferries' combined new routeRamsgate to Ostend is set to start on the 27th of March 2010. This new service collaboration will be initially operated by the LD Lines vessel Ostend Spirit.

As part of the new agreement, the passenger sailings will be doubled gradually to utilize the capacity of the TransEuropa Ferries' vessel Oleander.

This partnership of LD Lines and TransEuropa is set to double the sailings between Ramsgate and Ostend with upto 4 return crossings. The crossing time is four hours each way.

Oleander has capacity for 1326 passengers, 127 cars and up to 42 freight vehicles and Ostend Spirit has capacity for 1850 passengers, 700 cars and up to 110 freight vehicles.

LD Lines are also offering great launch offers starting from just £27 each way for a car + upto 9 passengers between Ramsgate and Ostend.

LD Lines' cross channel ferry service network also includes the Dover - Boulogne , Newhaven - Dieppe and Portsmouth - Le Havre routes.
