LD Lines has announced a promotional fare of £18 each way for customers who make early bookings on its Dover to Boulogne ferry route.
The special offer is available for travel throughout 2010 and covers a car and two passengers.
Some sailings scheduled before the end of 2009 will also be available with the lead-in fare of £18.
LD Lines operates four daily sailings on its Dover to Boulogne ferry route using the Norman Spirit, which has the capacity to carry 1,850 passengers, 700 cars and 11 freight vehicles.
The crossing takes one hour and 45 minutes, providing quick and easy access to northern France and Belgium.
Travellers who want to enjoy some added luxuries during their journey can pay £7 for the Premium service, which includes priority boarding, access to the onboard lounge, complimentary newspapers and refreshments.
LD Lines also offers ferries to Le Havre from Portsmouth.
Other travel options for people planning to visit northern France include the
Dover to Calais ferry route served by P&O Ferries and
Seafrance, and the Portsmouth to St Malo ferry link provided by
Brittany Ferries.
