Holidaymakers who will be catching ferries to France this year may be interested in visiting a new web page that has been launched by the national tourist board before setting off.
The 'affordable France' online guide is based on the website of the French Government Tourist Office.
It provides details on several special offers and money-saving promotions available across the country this year, including travel options such as the
SeafranceDover to Calais ferry service.
Users of the guide can pick up money-saving tips covering various holiday categories, including seaside trips, city breaks, outdoor activities, winter sports and culture.
Jean-Pierre Courteau, UK director of tourism development agency A Tout France, said: "We hope this new online selection will show what a range of great value breaks are available in France and provide holidaymakers with a user-friendly way to find information and book the deal that best suits them."
Travellers planning to visit France can also catch ferries to Calais from Dover with P&O Ferries.
Brittany Ferries operates a Plymouth to Roscoff ferry route, while
LD Lines provides ferries to Le Havre from Portsmouth.
