Nat King Cole fans given reason to visit Dublin | | | | 13 August 2008 | Lovers of the music of Nat King Cole will be sorely tempted to hop on a Dublin ferry this October as one of the city's major venues hosts a tribute to the great musician.
Let There Be Love A Celebration of Nat King Cole will be held at Dublin's National Concert Hall on October 4th.
Cole was the man behind some of the most famous love songs in the history of popular music, many of which are still instantly recognisable today, more than 40 years after his death.
The National Concert Hall show will feature all of the songwriter's best-loved numbers, including Unforgettable, When I Fall in Love, Stardust and Let There Be Love.
People planning a trip to Dublin in October will be able to attend a number of events at this venue, including a production of A Midsummer Night's Dream on October 5th.
Ferry crossings to Dublin are available from Liverpool, Holyhead and the Isle of Man with operators including Irish Ferries, Stena Line and P&O Ferries. |
