The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company will welcome the new fast ferry Manannan into its fleet this weekend following a major refurbishment.
Manannan is due to leave Portsmouth tomorrow (May 8th) and will arrive in Douglas the following morning.
Due to begin carrying travellers on Isle of Man ferry services from May 22nd, the ship now features an enlarged lounge on the top deck which contributes to its increased seating capacity for more than 800 passengers.
Mark Woodward, chief executive of the Steam Packet Company, said: "I am delighted that Manannan will be arriving in Douglas soon and am sure that onlookers will be impressed as she appears in her Isle of Man Steam Packet Company livery.
"We hope the public will come to witness her arrival and share this moment with us."
The Steam Packet Company offers ferries to Dublin and Belfast from the port of Douglas and also sails to the Heysham and Liverpool ferry ports on the British mainland.
