Travellers planning to take ferries to France to explore the Champagne-Ardenne region this year will be able to make the most of their trip using a series of online audio guides.
Tourisme Champagne-Ardenne announced that it had released English versions of 14 mini-guides, which are available for download from the organisation's website or to listen to online.
Located in north-east France, the region is easy to reach for people travelling on the
Dover to Calais ferry route - which is served by P&O Ferries and
Seafrance - or taking ferries to Boulogne from Dover with
LD Lines.
The new audio guides provide a mix of historical information, interviews, quotes from local people and useful tips on the highlights of various areas.
Listeners will be able to learn more about some of the region's most popular Champagne tour routes, as well as popular destinations such as Reims, Troyes and Charleville-Mezieres.
Holidaymakers planning to visit France this year also have the option of taking ferries to Dunkerque from Dover with
Norfolkline or using
LD Lines' Portsmouth to Le Havre ferry route.
