Norfolkline has announced that customers travelling on its Liverpool to Belfast ferry route will soon be entertained by a new live music act.
One of the company's own staff members, Paul Donnelly, is the lead singer of a show band called the Manhattans, who will be performing on
Norfolkline's return ferry crossings every Saturday until the end of August.
The group play everything from lively dance and rock 'n' roll numbers to pop ballads and Irish country music.
Poul Woodall, route director for
Norfolkline Irish Sea, said: "The Manhattans are a superb group, full of fun and excitement.
"We are delighted to have them onboard and we know that our passengers will enjoy a great experience with their wide range of musical talent."
Norfolkline Irish Sea provides day and night sailings in both directions on its Liverpool to Belfast ferry route.
The operator also offers ferries to Dublin from Liverpool, as well as Rosyth to Zeebrugge and Dover to Dunkerque ferry services.
