People catching ferries to Ireland with Norfolkline Irish Sea will continue to be offered Johnsons Coffee products after the ferry operator announced the extension of its partnership with the company.
High-grade coffee importer Johnsons supplies Norfolkline with espresso beans that are used on the carrier's Liverpool to Belfast and Liverpool to Dublin ferry routes.
Norfolkline staff are currently being trained in espresso-making techniques ahead of a barista competition due to be held on April 20th.
To promote the extension of the partnership, some 10,000 Norfolkline stickers have been placed on Johnsons Coffee packs at retail outlets across the country, providing information on the ferry company's latest deals and a competition.
Diane Poole of Norfolkline Irish Sea said: "We have been extremely impressed not only with the Johnsons products, but also the comprehensive knowledge and experience Johnsons brings to our beverage offering."
Johnsons Coffee business director Philip Mills added: "Passengers onboard Norfolkline ferries have been enjoying our Bellagio Espresso coffee and this promotion will hopefully encourage our retail and food service customers to experience a relaxing Irish Sea crossing with Norfolkline at a discounted rate."
In addition to its ferries to Ireland, Norfolkline offers a Dover to Dunkerque ferry service and will soon launch crossings from Rosyth to Zeebrugge.
