Norfolkline prepares to launch Rosyth to Zeebrugge ferry route

Norfolkline has revealed new pricing structures being put into place in preparation for the launch of its Rosyth to Zeebrugge ferry service on May 19th.

With the "finishing touches" now being made to its Scottish Viking ferry that will operate the route, Norfolkline confirmed that prices would start from £70 one-way for foot passengers and £165 for a car, with both fares including a reclining seat.

Additional pricing options are available for people who will be travelling with motorbikes and bicycles.

People catching ferries from Rosyth to Zeebrugge will be offered accommodation in 107 four-berth cabins and 57 reclining seats on Scottish Viking, with other onboard facilities including a cinema, restaurant, free Wi-Fi zone and a children's play area.

Norfolkline passenger manager Don Clarke said: "Since announcing the launch our new Rosyth to Zeebrugge service, we have been increasingly encouraged by the level of interest from potential customers - so much so it has already warranted the introduction of an extended range of travel options.

"As the only continental ferry link, this is an important new service for both Scotland and Europe and we are looking forward to welcoming our first Scottish passengers on board on May 19th."

Norfolkline also offers ferries from Liverpool to Dublin and Belfast and provides access to Europe from south-east England via its Dover to Dunkerque ferry service.
