Norfolkline customers are happy with the service they receive from the ferry operator's staff, according to a recent study.
The company arranged a series of focus groups in Belfast, Dublin and Birkenhead to discover the level of satisfaction among customers who regularly travel on its ferries to Ireland from Liverpool.
Respondents praised the friendliness of
Norfolkline's staff and commended their 'can do' attitude.
The survey also highlighted the aspects of ferry travel that customers value most, namely its affordability during difficult financial times and not having to worry about baggage restrictions.
Poul Woodall, route director for
Norfolkline Irish Sea, said: "Our aim as a company is to ensure passengers have the most comfortable and enjoyable experience on our vessels and we are extremely proud that the staff have been recognised as one of our most valuable assets.
"It was recognised that the company have gone to great lengths to ensure that the passenger experience is pleasant and comfortable."
Alongside its ferries to Dublin and Belfast from Liverpool,
Norfolkline provides access to Europe via its recently launched Rosyth to Zeebrugge ferry service.
