P&O Ferries was among the winners at the 2010 Group Travel Awards ceremony, which was held at the Hilton hotel in the heart of London on June 11th.
The annual event is arranged to recognise the best suppliers and companies in the group travel industry.
P&O Ferries was named the best sea crossing operator for groups, with
Stena Line taking the runner-up accolade.
Brittany Ferries,
Eurotunnel,
Irish Ferries,
SeaFrance and
Wightlink completed the list of nominees.
P&O Ferries' Dover to Calais ferry service provides access to northern France and is popular among families visiting Disneyland Paris, which was named the year's best overseas attraction for group visits.
La Coupole in France was the runner-up in this category, while the D-Day Museum in Arromanches and Keukenhof Gardens in Holland were also nominated.
Travellers can also take ferries from Hull to Zeebrugge with
P&O Ferries to explore Belgium, which was voted the top overseas destination at the 2010 Group Travel Awards.
