People planning to travel by ferry to their Christmas break destination this year have been informed by P&O Ferries of the schedule the company will be offering over the festive period.
The operator will provide a wide range of services over Christmas and New Year, with space currently available across its route network, but there will be no services on certain days.
P&O Ferries will offer normal crossings from Dover to Calais over the New Year period, with no sailings on Christmas Day and a reduced service on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day.
There will be no sailings on the Hull to Rotterdam route on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, December 31st and January 1st, while ferry crossings from Hull to Zeebrugge will not be available on December 24th, 25th, 30th and 31st.
The company will operate a full scheduled service between Portsmouth and Bilbao over the festive period.
P&O Ferries is one of the biggest ferry operators in the industry, providing links between the UK and the continent and also offering services between Ireland and mainland Britain.
