P&O Ferries offering £29 midweek return from Dover to Calais

P&O Ferries has announced a promotion offering midweek return fares from £29 for a car and up to four passengers on its Dover to Calais ferry route.

The company said the offer is ideal for people who want to avoid the crowds by travelling during the week and outside of busy seasons.

Passengers will benefit from the low fare if they sail from Dover on any day between Sunday and Thursday and return from Calais on any weekday, provided the travel dates do not fall in the company's peak periods.

The exclusion dates for the offer are May 28th-June 6th, July 22nd-September 5th and October 22nd-31st.

P&O Ferries also stressed that the promotion does not cover people who will be travelling with motorhomes, towed vehicles such as caravans and commercial vehicles.

Customers who are able to travel at off-peak times can take advantage of the offer if they book before May 26th for journeys up to December 15th.
