P&O Ferries promotes Belgium

P&O Ferries promotes Belgium
P&O Ferries has encouraged travellers to take advantage of the holiday opportunities on offer in Belgium this year, claiming that the country is "often forgotten, but always alluring".

The operator provides ferries from Hull to Zeebrugge, which offer the opportunity to explore Belgium from north to south, and ferries from Dover to Calais that provide the option to drive into the country from France.

There are many attributes and attractions that make Belgium worth visiting, according to P&O Ferries, such as its old towns, vibrant culture and position "at the heart of new Europe".

Destinations such as Ghent and Bruges showcase fine Flemish architecture and also provide plenty of chances to sample the country's famous beers and chocolate.

People who decide to catch ferries to Belgium over the coming months will be able to attend events including the Antwerp Pride festival and the Ommegang Pageant in Brussels.

In addition to the P&O Ferries service from Hull, travellers heading to Belgium can catch ferries from Rosyth to Zeebrugge with Norfolkline.
