P&O Ferries to treat mums this Mother's Day

P&O Ferries will be offering a number of treats for mums travelling on its cross channel ferry services this Mother's Day.

The company is offering a special package on its return Dover to Calais ferry crossings that will include a champagne aperitif in the club lounge on the outward sailing.

On the return journey, there will be the option of a three-course lunch or dinner in Langan's brasserie, as well as a personal shopper service giving passengers the chance to pick up some onboard bargains.

Mother's Day, which falls on March 22nd this year, could also see a number of European travellers using cross channel ferry services in order to take advantage of a number of offers and initiatives being launched in London.

Tourism agency Visit London recently released a guide to celebrating the occasion in the capital, with options including a lunch at the Pont de la Tour restaurant or a trip on the London Eye.

Another alternative for children looking to treat their mums this year is a weekend ferry break to the popular Irish city of Dublin.
