P&O to offer festive ferry trips

Cheap cross-channel tickets are being offered by P&O Ferries to passengers searching for bargain gifts in France.

According to the firm, two people with a car can park on a P&O ferry as it undertakes a four hour round trip between Dover and Calais.

Passengers on the Calais ferry time will be able to take advantage of the numerous shops offering goods such as perfume and alcohol with the low rate of French duty.
