Relax and enjoy the journey with Irish Ferries

Relax and enjoy the journey with Irish Ferries

A recent report by a major insurance company confirms that around 200,000 bags are lost each month at UK airports. Another reason why, says Irish Ferries, it's safer to load precious holiday essentials into the car and take the ferry.

"It's bad enough having to endure the long check-ins and queues, but then to spend further pointless hours waiting in vain at the carousel is guaranteed to drive stress levels off the scale... the very opposite of what a holiday is supposed to do," said Declan Mescall, head of passenger sales at Irish Ferries.

"Self-drive holidays by ferry are growing in popularity as holidaymakers take advantage of competitive pricing, short check-in times, space to relax and enjoy the journey, confident that their luggage will not disappear en route."
